Field Day

The kids had a field day with the whole second grade the last week of school. They had a lot of fun playing the games that all the teacher prepared for them. They especially liked playing Dribble, Dribble, Drench--it's like duck, duck, goose, but you use a filled sponge and hold it over the heads of the players until you want to Drench someone and they have to chase you around the circle. That is one I'm going to have to remember for this summer with the neighbor kids. It was lots of fun to watch them even if I was the only mom there. Jason really wanted me there that day so I took my lunch and went to be with them. It was great.
