Willow park zoo

Yesterday we drove up to Logan because Jason was giving a presentation at USU for a conference. We were going to go visit his Granparents who live near there too, but they weren't feeling well. Since the kids wanted to try out the dvd player in the new van we decided to all go. It was quite a long drive for such a short time there, but it was still fun. While Jason was presenting the kids and I went to Willow Park Zoo. More of a park than a zoo really, but the kids still had fun checking out the birds and the very few four legged animals they had there. Liam slept through the whole thing so I dont' know if it really counts as his first visit to a zoo or not. :) But the car ride went much better than I thought it
would for him. I'm considering going to AZ with my Dad so Liam can meet my grandparents and my little sister next weekend so this was kind of a trial run for the long car ride there. I think I may just do it...we'll see. Here are a few pictures.

He fell asleep on me like this with his head on his hands and little Jason wanted to take a picture so since he twisted my arm I let him. :)

After we walked through the zoo we still had some time to kill so the kids explored the three different playgrounds that were within walking distance. This is at the last one (they like the best). It was actually made for children with disabilities, but my kids loved it too!!

Why is spinning so much fun??

This one isn't quite the same as the merry go rounds I remember from being a kid, but they still loved it! I wish they still had things like this at playgrounds, but I guess they are too dangerous. ;)

Love the picture of him resting on his hands. He is adorable.
