Weekend with friends and welcome to Utah!

We had a really fun weekend for a change. On Friday night our friends Dallas and Diana came over for dinner with their kids. We kept it simple and just had pizza, the kids played night games outside and had a blast even though it was chilly outside. The adults just hung out and talked. It was great fun and good to see them!

Saturday afternoon we went to lunch at Sherwin and LaurieLyn's house. The girls had fun playing house and tea party and the boys went to watch the end of a black belt test at a local karate studio. We all had a great time and again, it was great to see them. I'm still not quite brave enough with picture taking to always ask to take pictures for the blog, so no pictures of either of these fun times...sorry.

Saturday night my brother Jim and his wife Jennifer and their two adorable little girls came over. They are moving here to Utah and we are SOOOOO excited! It'll be so much fun to have some of MY family close by so if we want to we can spend holidays with them. :) I LOVE Jason's family, but get to missing mine when holidays roll around. So, Jennifer got to see Liam for the first time and hold him. Her little Shayla got a kick out of Liam too. Here are a couple cute pictures.

Jennifer holding Liam

Jim's attempt to get a pic of us with the two youngest. I wanted to be able to see the size difference between the two, but didn't quite capture that. I'll have to try again another time.

This morning Liam was holding on to this set of keys for a long time. It was so cute. I came back after doing something and he was holding his hand up to his face and just staring at it. I tried to get a pic, but alas my camera is too slow and we missed the chance. This is the best I could do. ;)
