A couple weeks ago we headed to Bridal veil falls for our weekly playgroup. The kids had a blast even though it was a bit chilly. I didn’t think about the fact that the sun isn’t quite over the mountain yet this late in the year.
First attempted photo
He was much more interested in running around (with Nathan) and throwing rocks into the water.
When the rocks near the water ran out they branched out and climbed up this rock slide to get rocks and then take them over to the water to throw them in. Liam liked finding the biggest ones he could carry.
They were all quickly covered in dust.
Attempt to get a picture of all the little ones.
Second (failed) attempt at a picture of me and my baby boy.
This picture is Liam and his friend Gannon.
Luckily Melissa, one of the other Moms there knew about a trail that goes up closer to the falls. I’ve been there lots of times and never knew about it. So, we took all our little ones on the trail and they loved it! I was amazed at the Moms that braved it even having to carry a baby.
Liam at the top of the trail. This is about half way up the falls.
Getting pictures of a bunch of preschoolers and toddlers is rather difficult. This is the best one I got.
I had to get a picture of his dusty legs because they made me smile.
Then he stepped into the frigid water to “wash them off” but only got his feet clean. That was even better.
I’m so glad that we have this playgroup to look forward to every week! Liam loves it and I know it will be a blessing to him later in life to have so many friends that he can relate to.

I don't even know most of these kids! I was laughing at Liam's dusty legs before you even mentioned it. He always has dirty legs!
