What a long day!

Friday we had a great day, but it was really long for me. I took the kids to swimming lessons and then we went straight to seven peaks water park. We spent all day there. It was a lot of fun for all of us even though we're all sunburned. I learned my lesson about applying sunscreen before you get there instead of waiting until you get there because apparently if it hasn't soaked in well it washes off easily so even though we reapplied we are all very red. :)

After 7 peaks we picked up Jason from work and took the kids to his parents house to spend the night. They had a blast like they always do when they spend the night there. They love being spoiled by grandma and grandpa.

Meanwhile Jason and I had a long awaited date night. We rarely go out on a date because it's just too much trouble to get a sitter. I know that's a terrible excuse, but hey it's true! So, we went out to eat at Rumbi Grill...I really like that place and it isn't even mexican food like we usually get. Then we went to a movie. I would much rather have seen Harry Potter, but of course they were all sold out so we decided to go to Pirates of the Carribean 3...it was AWFUL!! Sooo confusing and WAY too many plots to keep track of. It was like they didn't have any idea what the story was when they started and just kinda did whatever they felt like at the time. I should've known since the second one wasn't that good either, but hey it was a date with my awesome hubby so I enjoyed myself anyway. It was kinda sad that when we got out of the movie at just after 11 pm Jason mentioned that we haven't been out that late in quite a long time. Boy are we boring!! So, that was our fun, but long day!
