Last Friday was the kids last day of swimming lessons. That means they spent the whole time going on the diving board and down the water slide. They have so much fun, but there were so many kids there it was hard to get many good pics of them---But here are a couple that I did get

Here in Utah the 24th of July is a hol
So the real holiday was yesterday and since our kids didn't really want to go to the "big" parade we all went to see Harry Potter instead. I thought it'd be kinda full, but the theater was really empty. I think there were only two other small families there besides us and that was it in the whole theater. Later in the day the parking lot of the theater was much more full, but I guess everyone was just at the parade so that was nice. I didn't like the movie as much as I thought I would. It was pretty good, but felt kinda disjointed to me...not like a flowing story, but more like bits and pieces that were just stuck together....but it was still good.
Then in the afternoon we went with Jason's to visit his brother Matthew's grave. It's so weird to think that he's been gone for 7 years now. We all still miss him.
After that the whole family went up the canyon for a picnic. That was lots of fun too. It was nice and cloudy so it wasn't too hot and we went to a park that I didn't even know existed. It's called Timpanogos park and it was really nice. The kids had fun climbing on rocks and Michael took them all to see the river--who needs playgrounds with all that to do? That was great of Michael since it left all the Moms free to chat without worrying about the kids. Unfortunately even though I took my camera I was too busy holding my adorable niece to take pictures so I don't even have any to share!!
I made up for not taking any pictures yesterday by taking some today (My kids got to come with since we couldn't find a sitter). We took the Young Women in our ward up to Salt Lake today. We toured the Humanitarian center, saw the Joseph Smith movie and then saw the sights at temple square. It was fun. Here are a few pics
Jason was being a stinker and wouldn't let me take any pics of him alone.
If it were easier to put pictures on here I'd share a whole bunch more!! So...that's been our last few days. Hope you enjoy our update and don't forget to comment!

looks great. I keep saying I'm going to take my kids to temple square this summer but it just hasn't happened....yet. Every summer usually ends with a lot less extra activity than I had hoped. I'm excited to hear more about this baby. Take care.
Cute pictures! Troy and I are debating on wether to take Brooke and Brielle to see Harry Potter. They love the movies and the books. How did your kids do during the movie?
This is Ixchelle on my sisters blog, I better switch over
