Visit to WA

We are in WA visiting my family right now. I didn't bring my camera cable since they had one, but they don't know where theirs is so I will have to add pictures when I get home. I just wanted to blog about what we've been doing before I forget.

We arrived on Wed afternoon and visited with everyone. All the family came over for dinner and it was great fun to see all of the cousins playing together. My sisters are still the crazy as you can see from these pictures. You'd think grown ups could eat cupcakes without getting their faces so dirty. :)




Thursday we visited Great-grandparents, went to the park and had a picnic, and went to watch Michael perform at band camp. I found out that a guy I was in band with was the marching band teacher so I made sure to find him and say hello while we were there. It was fun to watch. While we were at Michael's thing my Dad took Jason to a baseball game where he was singing the national anthem with his barbershop chorus. Jason ended up getting to be on the field holding the flag while they sang and he thought that was pretty cool. I wish I had a picture of that! He had a BLAST at the baseball game and grandpa even bought him a souvenir.

The kids got to do archery with grandpa. My dad used to take us to the shooting range when we were kids to do archery too so this brought back a lot of memories for me.



Friday I wasted a lot of time reading Eclipse because I was dying to find out what happened and the late night reading was making me tired. :) Then we went to my brother's apt. complex to swim with the kids and then we went to Great grandma's house again for a b-day party for my brother Tom and some family pictures. So, that's what's happening here so far. I'm hoping to get in touch with some friends today to see them while we are still here.
