I remember block parties when I was a kid. Everyone would put something fun to do in their front yard (volleyball, slip-n-slide, basketball, watermelon seed spitting) they’d close off the street and everyone would have a grand old time roaming from house to house all day then we’d end with a big BBQ. Our Ward party this year was a “block party” kind of party they blocked off the street (at least part of it) Someone kindly allowed the kids to go swimming in their backyard pool…
Someone brought a cotton candy making machine and a snow cone making machine too…Liam was in heaven.
Love the cotton candy beard—it grew as the night wore on.
Everyone brought yummy food…this cute neighbor boy of ours hopped in line first thing before his parents could help him and I thought there was no way he’d finish this huge plate of food…but he did! Even some of the adults went crazy--
Bonnie & her “dinner”of cotton candy and a cookie (the cotton candy was actually eaten by her daughter).

A great time was had by all—if you didn’t come you missed out! Thanks to the people who pulled it all together! You rock!
