Weekend fun and shout out

I guess it was mostly on Saturday that we had lots of stuff going on. In the morning Jason had a karate tournament in SLC. He and Dad went up because I didn't think that Liam would enjoy all of the waiting and noise that goes with a tournament. Jason had a good time and Dad took a few pictures, but I haven't gotten them uploaded yet.

Emily and I went with Liam to BYU to check out the African American children's fair that was hosted by BYU's Black student Union in celebration of Black History month. It was fun. We saw this really cook group called Elikya do African dances and they were so much fun to watch. I didn't get any pics though because Liam was wanting to be held. Emily had a lot of fun playing with all the kids there. She jump roped, played tag, made crafts, and didn't want to leave. It was fun to see all the families like ours that have adopted AA children helping their kids learn about their heritage and making friends with each other. It'll be fun when Liam can run around and join in the fun.

Finally, I just want to give a quick shout out to all those of you who read my blog. I know our lives aren't that interesting, but it's nice to know that some of our friends and family can keep up with what is going on in our lives in such a simple way.
