First Birthday

This weekend we celebrated Liam's first birthday. I can't believe he's one already. Time has flown by so quickly. It is so surreal to think about this time last year. We were bringing him home for the first time from the hospital and he was a tiny baby. He was such a good baby and so calm and mellow. He is such a joy to us and has been for the last year and brings so much fun and entertainment into our lives. I wanted to write down some things to remember about this time so if you aren't interested then you don't have to read it. I'll post pictures of the party etc and talk about that soon.

Right now Liam is walking most of the time, but if he falls down he'll start crawling and recently he's started crawling with fists instead of opening his hands and using his palms.

He loves to stick out his tongue and if you stick yours out he'll try to touch it or grab it.

He is VERY ticklish and has been since he was a newborn.

He can find your nose and likes to play the game to see what "sound" all of our noses make.

He loves to play the pacifier game with Daddy. It's when Daddy takes the wrong side of his pacifier in his teeth and then Liam tries to get it back into his mouth or else takes it out and puts it in the right way into Daddy's mouth depending on his mood.

He says Mama often, but I'm still not sure he knows it refers to me.

He loves to have someone chase him. He'll run away for a little bit and then collapse to the ground giggling like crazy until you get him. Sometimes when he's really happy he'll laugh at you just for looking at him and smile (this especially applies to big brother)

Liam has tons of people who love him and he is so adorable that complete strangers often stop me to tell me how cute he is and that they'd like to take him home. I dare them to try because they'd never get him away from me. ;)

We all love Liam and don't know what we'd do without him in our lives!
