First Day of School
Today is the twins' first day of school. I can't believe they are in teh 5th grade! I remember so clearly my 5th grade year...I'm not supposed to be old enough to have 5th graders! They were both excited though and I think they'll have a great year. They humored me and let me walk them to school---then when we got into the school they both disappeared and I couldn't find them--finally after the second time checking their classrooms they were there. I decided to be dorky and make them take pictures outside their classrooms even though they are probably too old for that. I even heard a teacher say "we're still doing this?" I'm assuming he thought I was crazy. I swear I'll keep doing it until they tell me they are too embarrassed, but I'll be heartbroken when that happens. Man, I'm such a sap. Hopefully they'll both have a great day.

It seems like it takes forever for them to start Kindergarten; but then the years just roll by. The older, wiser women in my neighborhood always tell me, "Don't blink."
I feel your pain! Maddie will be in 5th grade as well, but we don't start until the 2nd so I have a few more days before I get sappy. Here's to a great year! :)
