Attack of the killer Band-Aid

Last week Emily took Liam on a walk and he somehow got a cut on his foot.  It was bleeding so I washed it off and asked Jason to get a Band-Aid for it.  He brought the band-aid and as soon as he opened it Liam started screaming "NO, NO!".  I was holding him and he had a death grip on  me with both his arms and legs.  I was really surprised that he was so scared of having a Band-aid on and being the great mom that I am I made him let us put it on anyway because I didn't want him tracking blood all over the house with his cut foot.  It hadn't been on his foot two minutes before he ripped it off.  We have worked on not being afraid of them by putting them on Mom, Dad, and brother and sister and by getting some Elmo ones.  Here's a video right after we got the Elmo ones when he was still pretty scared of them.  The only reason we can think of is because of shots since that's the only other time I can think of he's ever had a Band-aid on him.  Don't think I'm too mean...it didn't last long and we all have to face our fears right?

Augh! It won't let me watch! That is so funny that he is scared of Band-aids. Kids are so weird! (o:

I couldn't watch either. It said I had to be invited.

I think I fixed it so try to watch it again!

I think that's so funny!!! I am glad to see that I am not the only one with irrational fears . . . too bad I'm 31! Hey, you'll save a lot of money on band aids at least! The other day I wrapped Lainey in toilet paper and scotch tape (because I ran out of big band aids!) It did the trick--she was instantly healed!

That is too funny! Normally kids love bandaids. I hope he gets over his fear!
