Sewing success

So, it's been awhile since I have blogged about my sewing class.  After the success of my pillow case (which I can't find to finally take a picture of and share) we started working on scripture bags.  Ann V. our awesome teacher had a bag that was cute and she just figured out how they were made and made a pattern and directions for us to follow.  It took us a couple months and we missed a month because of schedules, but I finished mine up tonight and I think it turned out pretty good.  I don't know if I could do it again without her help, but I could make a try at least... Emily immediately asked what I was going to do with it so I told her she could have it and she was thrilled.  She put her scriptures in it already and took this picture I'm glad she likes it.  Honestly it turned out much better than I thought it would.  Our next project is an apron.  Everyone else is making a plain jane one and I'm the only one that wants a cute frilly one so we'll see how that goes.  Someday maybe I'll stop feeling so stressed about this whole sewing thing.  I just worry too much about making a mistake.
