Summer trip

A week and a half ago we left to go visit my family in Washington.  We had a fabulous time and the kids are dying to go back.  Hopefully it won’t be so long this time until we get back there.  I don’t really like to drive that far by myself and Jason can’t sit in a car that long and still be able to stand up once he gets there so I usually have to find someone to drive up with.  We used to go with my friend Sariah all the time, but it has been a lot of years since we’ve gone with her.  I’m not sure if she’ll ever want to go with us again after the trip we had up, but she was sure patient and a trooper with my wild and bickering children in her backseat.  There they are—none of them are used to sitting that close together so it caused a few issues, but we made it!  Our illustrious driver.  We split the trip up in two parts so at least it wasn’t 10 straight hours of listening to the kids fight,  but it still felt like it.  I was VERY happy to make it there and get out of the car!  Thanks so much for being so patient, Sariah!
When we got there my brother, Jim and his family were also there.  We didn’t get to see too much of them before we were off for an adventure, but I did get to snuggle with Paul a little bit!  He’s a little chunk of snuggly love!  (don’t mind my lovely been in the car all day hair/face)
