We currently have a Sam's club card. We have had a Costco card in the past when we lived closer to it. Since Liam joined our family I have gone several times with friends to Costco to get their wipes and diapers and I kept being reminded how much better I like it there than Sam's club. They have more variety, more organic choices, cheaper gas and I just plain like it better. Our Sam's club card will expire in Dec and I want to switch to Costco. Jason doesn't want to. He says it's too far away. It is farther than Sam's club and for comparison purposes I looked it up. Costco is 16.55 miles away while Sam's club is only 8.55 miles away according to mapquest. The thing is that I already end up going up that way at least once a week so if I combined my trip by going to Costco too then it wouldn't even be any more gas.
This is where my awesome blog readers come in...I need you to help me find more reasons in favor of Costco to help me convince my awesome husband that we should make the switch. What do you love about it--or if you hate it speak now and make your case against it if you want.
Have a great day!

Costco!! Costco!! Costco!!
We use to have a membership to both Sam's and Costco. When the Sam's expired, we never renewed. When Costco expired, we renewed and have been renewing for many many years.
Good luck!!!
Tell him that I drive a minimum of 25 miles to get to Costco, so 16 doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I don't go more often than once a month, and I combine it with other errands to save on gas.
I'm less familiar with Sam's Club, but I do love Costco.
I love Costco, but I do combine it with other trips. I agree with the distance problem I have wondered the same thing myself. In the end though, I stick with Costco. If you are already up there, why not Costco?
I think Costco is so much better. I didn't get to go there as much when I lived in Payson. I always wondered why they didn't have one out that way. Now I go all the time since it is 6 or 7 min. away.
I like Costco, but I don't do any regular shopping there. Winco is cheaper for groceries and Target is cheaper for diapers (Target brand diapers). Here in Seattle, it's in the industrial district, which is challenging to get to on a regular basis. I do love to go for some kids outfits from time to time, but, like I said, no regular shopping there.
