Christmas break fun

We are having a fun Christmas break from school/work.  My awesome husband takes a good bit of time off each year around Christmas so that we can spend time as a family. 

We have had so much fun playing games together and planning fun things to do together.  We still have a long list, but hopefully we'll get lots of it done. 

We had an awesome Mancala tournament (thanks Natalie!) and I am the reigning champion.  (for the record both my kids beat their dad and then after they went to bed I beat him too...better luck next time honey)  I think they were getting him back for beating them at Risk.  I bowed out of that game because it's not my favorite and someone had to entertain the baby to keep him out of it.  :)  We are currently playing/figuring out how to play the new game we got for Christmas called "Colosseum.  It's pretty fun so far and I think it'll be a good family game.  I'm thinking we need to add scrabble to our game closet though...maybe for birthdays in a couple months.  ;)

Today we went bowling at BYU.  We got there right as they opened and it was probably a good thing since the noise was a little scary to Liam.  We had fun and Jason beat us all.  Liam and I tied (that tells you how well I was bowling although he bowled exceptionally well with that little metal ramp they have) Below he's cheering for the spare he just got.  It was great fun.  I love this break and how much fun we are able to have as a family in a short period of time.  :)  I hope you are having fun on your break too!
