Memorial Day

This is a post mostly for my brother, Tom. He's over in the Middle East with the Air Force right now and I've been thinking about him the past few days. As soon as he sends me his mailing address we're gonna put a package together for him. It's been way too long since I've seen him. I was hoping to see him this summer, but now he's out of the country all summer so I guess it'll have to wait. Check this handsome guy out! That pic is from a couple years ago when we drove together to visit our parents right before Liam was born. In fact we had a false alarm on the way home thinking Liam was going to be born, but then he waited another week instead. Here's another one from that trip... We are only 18 months apart and growing up we were best friends and worst enemies like most siblings that close are. We sure wish he lived closer to us so we could see him and his kids more. I sure am grateful to him and everyone else that helps us keep our country a safe place to live. He had lots of good examples in both of our Grandpa's and an uncle that were all in the military. Hope we can see you when you get back Tom! Love you tons!
