We are loving spring! Every time I walk by the blooming tree in my front yard and smell it's sweet scent I am grateful for Spring. Its the bright pink one in this picture that is in bad need of pruning. :) I love the smell of it...it reminds me of lilacs (which I LOVE) and I wish it could be so pretty and smell so good all the time and not just for a week or two in the spring.
The Tulips I planted last fall are peeking their heads up too and I can't wait to find out what colors they are! I'll take pics when they finally bloom. Our front yard where I planted them is pretty shady so although most tulips have already bloomed ours still haven't quite gotten to that point yet. I bought them last year at Thanksgiving Point after their tulip festival. They sell them fairly inexpensively, but you have no idea what colors they are so it's a fun surprise to see what you end up with.

I love that tree! It would be a shame to prune that burst of wild color! It helps me to realize that some places are not raining right now.
