Jason has been doing track at school. He’s kind of bounced around in different events trying to find what he likes and what he’s good at. I was only able to make it to two of his track meets (mostly because I never knew when they were because they kept changing the days and he would only find out when he went to school that day). Anyway, Liam and I had fun watching him a couple Fridays ago even though it was SNOWING. I swear I took some pictures, but they have mysteriously disappeared from my camera. Then we watched him again this past Friday and it was hot and sunny! Only in Utah.
The meet we went to this week he did the long jump and the 400 meter run. His longest jump this meet was 13 feet. Here are a few pictures.
waiting for his heat to start
All set to go. He didn’t win his heat, but he did great and hopefully he will be able to work hard this summer and improve for next year. Way to go Jason! We love you!

There is something so teenager-ish about track. Tell me your kids (and mine) aren't growing up.
Hey, funny thing: I wrote a happy birthday note on my brother-in-law's FB wall and happened to see a note from your husband there too. I know they know each other, but I forgot and it seemed like two of my worlds were colliding.
I love all your stories of Liam. Let's be sure to play this summer.
