Castles and Dragons

Emily participated in our local Arts festival by taking the theater class and the play they did was called "Castles and Dragons".  They practice two hours daily for two weeks and then the last day they perform twice.  It's pretty impressive that they can learn everything in such a short amount of time.  She had a lot of fun and it was fun to watch her perform.  She was the gardener and a Lady.  This year the play was written by the director so that was interesting too.  It was really hard to get any good pictures of the play because we were towards the back and we couldn't use a flash so without a tripod they are all blurry.  You can see Em bowing in this one she's the second from the left.

This is her Lady costume.  She was VERY excited about her stage makeup and between shows added twice what I had put on her in the first place.  It was pretty funny--especially when she told me later that several of the older "actors" told her she went overboard with her makeup.
