Fun in Washington, part 1

I don't have tons of time to post yet, but I feel bad that my complaining post from before we left to visit my family in Washington has been up for so long. I was over that pretty quickly. ;) I don't know how many parts this will end up being, but I want to record it so I can remember.

We had an uneventful drive to WA thank goodness. Liam didn't like the car at all. He couldn't stay asleep for some reason so he was REALLY cranky. Even movies didn't help him. But we survived anyway. The first thing we usually do when we go is head for the Playground of Dreams at Columbia park. The kids all love it and it was the perfect place to go Mon. morning when it was REALLY hot. Liam wasn't so keen on getting sprayed, but he did go in the water a little bit. He was more interested in the actual playground than the water. I also ran into a guy I went to high school with. He looked nothing like I remembered and if he hadn't recognized me I never would have even known it was him. It was fun to talk to him though. This is my cute nephew Ronnie. He had a love/hate relationship going on with Liam. It was interesting to watch. I didn't get any pictures in the playground because I kept forgetting my camera.
