Workout rut

So, I'm officially in a workout rut.  I'm too much of a baby to run in the cold and it was REALLY hard running while pushing Liam too.  I have some workout videos, but Liam doesn't usually cooperate for me to do them (ie he hangs on my legs or pulls my shorts down).  So, the only thing I've been able to do lately is go to a class at a church nearby.  It's a great workout, but two times a week isn't good enough.  I felt so much better (and happier too) when I was jogging everyday.  So, I don't know what to do.  I called the gym to see how much it would be for a membership and it's surprisingly expensive when they want you to pay two full years upfront, pay for daycare, and then pay them nearly $200 in sign up fees.  So, I was looking into buying a treadmill, but I'm not sure where we'd put it and I don't know that Liam would let me use it anyway...I don't want him to get hurt or anything...so, please share with me what you do and why you like it over other things you've tried and how it works with your kids.  Thanks in advance!!

Does Liam still use a highchair? I used to wait for lunch time and plop Aaron into his - so I'd workout while he snacked. He loved to watch me workout...yea..hilarious!

If you want a gym pass you can tell them you will only do it if you can pay month to month. Negotiate with them, see what they will do for you. Good Luck!

I find that outside running is the only way I can really get any kind of workout. Do you have any girl friends who are looking to work out too? Maybe you guys could swap kids for half an hour each every morning? When does your hubby get home? Is it too late to run then, or too early before he leaves?

The problem I have with running outside now is that I'm a big baby and it's getting cold. I hate it when it's cold enough that my throat hurts from the cold air and my ears ache too. I'm just a baby. That's a good idea though for when it gets warmer. ;)

David haggled with Gold's gym and got it for $20 a month. We paid for a whole year. My mom comes over three mornings a week. Baylie's still asleep. The other days David and I trade off. It actually helps that my mom comes because it forces me to get up.
