Friday was gorgeous and warm and it felt so good to be in the sun!
We started our day off at Disneyland again. Jason and I got an early run on Space mountain again. Then we got some fast passes for autopia because Em and Jason wanted to do it and I thought Liam would really like it too. We didn’t want to go too far while we waited for our fast passes to be usable so we went to ride Pinocchio in Fantasyland (Liam was obsessed with “nocchio” as he called it) Then we took a ride on the monorail. We hadn’t ridden it before and we got lucky enough that we got to sit in the front with the driver. Liam called it the “mamarail” it was cute.
So we got an awesome view of everything. It was a nice little break and a good way to spend some time.

This is Liam and I after we finished riding Autopia. Liam LOVED driving and at one point in the course there was a small downhill and he took his hands off the wheel and put them in the air and yelled “hands up!” like he does when we are in our real car. It was so funny since he was steering—he didn’t realize he had to keep his hands on the wheel. Hopefully he will figure that out before he drives for real.
In the afternoon we went to CA adventure to catch the pixar parade. Liam LOVED it. Check out these dance moves.
After the parade in CA adventure we went back to Disneyland to catch a few more rides before their parade and then we did a couple rides before the fireworks too. Liam liked the parade in Disney too and they even have them come out and dance with them—which he totally loved doing with Jason right there helping him. Liam liked Tigger

Going through all of our pictures to blog about our trip I realized that I don’t have nearly enough of Daddy. I guess he’s complained enough about my picture taking that I’ve subconsciously let up on him in the picture dept. I’m gonna have to fix that. :) I do have this cute one of the Jason’s though
I was totally looking forward to watching the fireworks Friday night. We had split up because Em wanted to go on a different ride from Jason. After our rides we had a meeting place set, but the rest of the family we were there with had a great spot saved for the fireworks so I called Jason to get him to come to us…well…our phones weren’t working well AT ALL (thanks AT&T). I think there were just way too many people there and they didn’t have enough antennae or whatever for them all. So, our phones were pretty much useless. The kids and I had gotten fast passes to ride thunder mountain railroad one last time after the fireworks so Em kinda needed to be with us. Jason had the brilliant idea to have her meet me at the statue of Walt Disney (we were right in front of the castle) so with what little I could hear and understand on our hardly working phones he sent her. The problem was that I couldn’t get to the statue…there were just too many people. So, I was freaking out that Em would be scared and alone and I didn’t know how we’d find her and all the crazy things that could happen. So, this was all happening the few minutes before the fireworks started and then during the whole fireworks show. I didn’t know if she’d made it to the statue or if she went back with Jason or what. I couldn’t call Jason because our phones just didn’t work. So, I started texting him (luckily that worked). I was a complete wreck and SO close to tears! I waited for awhile in a spot where I thought she’d have to walk by in the hopes that I’d catch her, but she must have already gone by before I got there. Finally towards the end of the fireworks I was able to make my way to the statue and once they were over I stood up on a bench and saw Em immediately. I can’t tell you the relief I felt. I was so happy that I’d found her. It’s a good thing too because she mentioned later that she probably would have just gone back to the hotel if she didn’t find us (we were within walking distance and I know she wouldn’t have gotten lost) but if she’d done that we would have spent all night at the park looking for her. I had Jason come meet us so I could know that we were all accounted for—what can I say, I’m a worry wart. :) Then the kids and I went on Thunder mountain one last time, got some dole whip and some candy and called it a night. (I would have stayed longer, but we had to be ready by 4:45 am for our shuttle to pick us up in the morning) Saturday we flew home, Liam slept the whole flight, we were all exhausted from our early morning and we crashed early Saturday night. It was a good trip and we had a great time even with a few problems here and there.
