You’ve got to be kidding

Ever since the tragedy in Haiti everyone seems to want to help somehow.  I know so many people have asked me about adoption and adopting from Haiti—one lady even asked me if Liam was from Haiti.  :)  There is so much good happening and so many wonderful people trying to help and many awesome organizations doing so much good there.  Then I started hearing about Unicef…I admittedly didn’t know much about them or their ideas about adoption and orphanages…now that I know I’m just amazed that anyone can be so heartless.  I don’t know everything or even a lot, but I have enough common sense to realize that although an orphanage isn’t the ideal place for long term care of children, it sure as heck is better than sleeping on the streets in filth.  Check out this blog for more information and links to other news articles about Unicef and how they are hurting, not helping children in Haiti.  It makes my heart hurt for all of those children at their mercy…I hope someone with some common sense can stop their meddling.
