Battle creek falls

A little while ago I was reading my friend Julie’s blog and she talked about going on a hike with her little ones to Battle creek falls.  I was interested because she said it was short and easy and it wasn’t too far to drive.  So, we headed up there on Labor Day. 

Thankfully it was just as described, short and easy, but even so Liam still wanted to be held.  It started almost immediately after getting out of the car.  Then, through the whole hike he would go from person to person in our family asking “hold me?” until someone relented finally.  He actually walked a good portion and mostly was held on the steep part right before the falls.  Overall I’d say it was a success.  Everyone had fun.  Thanks for letting us know about it Julie!  Jason had to cross the water and see how far up he could get before we made him come back.  He’s an adventurous one.
