Bedtime

We finally took the rail off of Liam’s crib so now it’s a bed instead.  He’s been able to climb out of his crib for awhile now, but at first he just didn’t think to do it.  Lately he’s been climbing out a lot more and since he is growing up I guess it was time.  So, Saturday Jason took care of it and Liam actually did great (I was dreading the fight of putting him back in bed a million times now that he could get out).  Then Sunday night Jason commented that Liam had gone right to sleep again and how great that is compared to the years long nightmare bedtime was with the twins.  I heartily agreed and Jason went on doing his thing.  Then he comes back into the living room and tells me to come see something and that we spoke too soon about Liam.  ThisIMG_0014 IMG_0015 is what we found.  This is Jason’s desk in our bedroom.  For some reason he decided it would be a more comfortable place to sleep than his bed.  At least he didn’t bug us by letting us know he was getting out of bed—I can’t believe he can be so quiet!

That is sooooo cute. I just want to scoop him up and give him a good snuggle! Bedtime is hard. Carter is a sleepwalker so he comes in our room most nights totally asleep, scratching his belly. It's exhausting.

How cute! I am dreading moving Zoe to a big bed. I hope we still have another year in the crib.
