Makes me smile

Liam got this guitar for his birthday.  It actually looks like a “keytar” if you remember those from the 80’s.  Ok, I found a picture for you. The neck of the guitar has keyboard keys on it.  Well, besides being terribly annoying it is kinda funny.  There are three settings on it—Rock, Hip Hop, and Jazz.  Each one has a song it plays in that supposed genre of music.  It’s the choice of songs that makes me laugh. I wish you could hear them…

The rock song is: “the bear went over the mountain” with a barely rock n roll beat. 

The Hip Hop song is “I love the mountains, I love the rolling hills” with a hip hop beat in the background and some awesome backup singers.  This is the one that makes me laugh the most because somehow I never thought I’d hear the word boom de ada repeated over and over in a “hip hop” song.

The Jazz song is one I haven’t heard before, “Go in and out the window” so it isn’t as funny.  

The one quality I really appreciate in this toy is the volume control, but I wish it was hidden somewhere harder to find because it doesn’t matter if I turn it down as soon as Liam starts playing he cranks it up as loud as it will go—I wonder if this is a glimpse of things to come…
