A new belt

Jason tested for a new karate belt while his Dad was interviewing in Detroit. Dad was sorry he missed the test, but Jason did a great job and now he's a senior green belt with only 5 more belts to go until he's a black belt!

Pinewood derby

Jason did a great job on his pinewood derby car. He found a car that he liked and he, his Dad, and his Grandpa all helped him build it, but Jason did most of the work himself and he loved every minute of it!

Bearded Dad

As usual Jason didn't shave during his break from work over Christmas. I think this is the first year he didn't have to shave part way through for something or other and he actually got a pretty nice beard. We all think he looks great with a beard and if it wasn't so scratchy I wouldn't mind him having one all the time. :) The kids told him he looked funny after he shaved it off because they were so used to him having it and that was after only a couple weeks! Notice Emily's sign. She made that all on her own.

Jason

Jason Jr. got Mike a chess board...so Mike can practice and then play Jason. It had to be a glass one though for some reason. This is the first year either of my kids cared what I bought for their gifts to the people in our family. It was fun.

Jason loved the knex and magnaman that he got from grandma and grandpa.

Jason got his long awaited from Tamagotchi and is playing with it ALL the time.

You can't tell from the picture, but at the Nash family christmas party there was a santa pinata and during the breaking santa was beheaded. After the candy gathering the older cousins decided it would be fun to play tether ball with Santa's head. Who'd have thought that up but kids. :)

Emily

Melanie trying on the hat and scarf Emily worked hard to make her for Christmas.
Emily got this cool magnet board from her Aunt Heather for her room. It goes perfectly in her room and she loves it!! As a bonus she won't have to put more holes in her walls to hang things up and that makes mom happy too. And yes...Heather made it herself...cool!!

Emily loves holding her baby cousin Easton. She wishes more of her baby cousins lived nearby so she could hold and play with them too.
