The hard thing about this blog is figuring out what to write. It seems like when I have lots of things happening in my life that would be fun/interesting to blog about I never have time to blog about them. Then, when things settle down I feel like it’s too late to write about them and I don’t have anything interesting to say (or I just can’t remember). Truthfully it probably doesn’t matter because I think there’s only two people who ever read this blog anyway.
So, the big decision around here lately has been whether or not to send Liam to Kindergarten next year when he will be the youngest in his grade or wait a year and let him be the oldest in his grade. Honestly I’ve been wondering about this decision for a really long time…years even. I’m happy to say that I’ve made a decision now. He will be waiting a year for Kindergarten and he will go to another year of preschool. Now, the problem is finding a preschool that has openings still. For some reason most of the ones I had in mind for him started registering for next year clear back in January! I was SO uncertain on what was best for him that I didn’t sign him up. (Actually, I was pretty sure I wanted him to wait back then, but my husband wanted to send him and I didn’t know how to reconcile our differing opinions) As of now he’s on two waiting lists and I’m crossing my fingers he gets into one of them!
Do you have kids that have birthdays close to the cut off? Did you send them young or let them be older? How did you decide?
