So, I've actually had a busy weekend. So busy actually that this is the first time I've sat at the computer since Friday afternoon. That's unusual for me because I like to check at least once a day so I don't have emails piling up etc. I just know you are
dying to know what kept me so busy all weekend so I won't disappoint. ;)
Friday night I decided to go crazy and go to the Breaking dawn party at our library from 10- midnight...I have to admit I don't stay up that late very often. I'm rather fond of my sleep and when you have a baby you never know when you'll get enough. But, I went anyway with a few friends and one of them even won the book! I'm VERY unlucky and had no notions that I would win anything so it wasn't a shock at all when I didn't win. I finally got to sleep around 2:30 after coming home to an awake Liam and having to feed/calm him down and get him back to sleep. (I secretly think Jason pinched him right when I got home just so I'd have to stay awake a little while longer...just kidding)
Saturday I tried in vain to sleep in. When you have kids there is no such thing as sleeping in. Even after they are told by Daddy to leave me alone they still keep coming into my room to ask me stuff...or crying at the door...or just talking loud enough in the kitchen that there's no way I can sleep. So, I dragged my tired behind out of bed. Thankfully Daddy took all the kids on errands with him so I at least had some peace and quiet.
Saturday afternoon Jason took me to see the new batman movie. He'd already seen it and wanted an excuse to go again so pretended that all my asking for a date with him had finally won out and he took me to the move. I'll be honest...it wasn't my favorite. The movie was really well done, the acting was fantastic, but the whole feel of the movie was so dark and sinister feeling that I left with a sick feeling in my heart. I'm partial to leaving movies feeling happy and content with the perfect way everything always turns out in the non reality of movies, but this didn't leave me that way at all. I think Jason was disappointed that I didn't like it.
Now it was his turn to pay up. I've been wanting him to take me to eat Indian food ever since I read the book "Hindi Bindi Club" since I was too intimidated by all the unknown ingredients in the recipes included in the book to try them myself. So, he finally took me (it was the only way I'd go to batman with him ...) We went to the Bombay House in Provo. It was REALLY good. I can't wait to try more of it. The funny thing is that ever since I decided I wanted to try Indian food I've noticed a lot more Indian restaurants while driving around. So, maybe I'll try them all out. It was nice to finally have a real date with my husband. :) Thank goodness for our babysitters extraordinare--Grandma and Grandpa.
Jason, being the great husband that he is bought me the new Twilight series book 4 on his errands on Saturday. I didn't have a chance to start reading it until Saturday night after we got back from our date and all the kids were in bed. I got through about 100 pages or so then Sunday got to about pg 500...I finished it up today. I'm reserving my judgements on it until more people I know have read it. I don't want to spoil it for anyone...Once you've read it leave a comment and tell me what you thought of it...I'll post my feelings in awhile so people have a chance to finish it. :)

How's that for an interesting title? Got you intrigued? I just had to write a couple things down before I forget them like I usually do. Liam has started sticking his tongue out quite often and it is just hilarious to me because it's really long and pointy looking when he sticks it out I triede hard to get a picture, but this is as good as I got and doesn't do it any justice at all. He often does it after giving kisses (which are often licks) but sometimes I'll look at him and he'll just have his tongue sticking out. It's so funny. 
for child sexual abuse and I honestly really don't want those kinds of things in my head when I already worry so much about my kids. My awesome sil watched the kiddies for me and Liam didn't even cry the whole time which is really good. I hope that he is getting more used to other people. When I got there to pick the kids up Em wanted the cousins to come play at our house so we had the two oldest come and they played all afternoon. It was great except for that it made it so Liam couldnt' really nap since they were a bit on the loud side. ;) Emily always has so much fun with Camden beasue they are both very creative people and are happy doing the same things even though he's 4 years younger than her. :) 
It was a fun time and I think Jason had fun even though he had to go with his boring old mom. :)
We usually spend a ton of time at the pool during the summer, but this is the first time we've been this summer. After last year's "crypto" outbreak we decided to wait awhile before going this summer to see if it would be a problem again before taking the kids to the pool. So, after a call to the health dept to find out that there haven't been any outbreaks so far we decided to brave it. Liam LOVED it. He loves to splash in the tub so I thought he'd like it, but you just never know with little ones how they will react.
But ended up like this the whole time! His poor little eyes were red from the chlorine and his skin was dry so we had to smear him with tons of cetaphil cream, but he loved it anyway.

seats it was ready to start. I laughed when they did the Stadium of fire announcement in the usual "song" and the kids said "THAT'S why Dad kept singing Stadium of Fire like that!" They must've just thought their dad was a little nutty. :) My personal favorite was the Blue man group. They did "how to be a rockstar" and it was really funny. I would love to see a full performance from them. The even funnier part was when Mylie Cyrus came out and started doing all the "Rockstar Dance moves that the Blue man group had just barely been poking fun at. THAT was funny. ;)
e below ) of one of them landing with my little camera, but it really doesn't give you the feeling of speed that you had watching them in real life coming into the stadium. I don't know if it was the sound or what, but they seemed to be going SOOO fast coming in you really thought they might not be able to stop. Actually the guy I took video of almost ran into the stands on the other side, but I quit filming and didn't catch it.
We were walking back to the car and Jason said there was another cache across the road. I figured it wasn't too far since it was part of the mountain across the road. So, the boys headed up...and they kept going and going, I finally yelled to ask if they had found it and they still had 300 more feet to go! It was the middle of the day and VERY hot and they weren't exactly ready for such a wild hike. They decided to come back and we'd go find that cache another time earlier in the day when we were more prepared to hike that mountain. You can't see too well, but the first picture is them going up and the second is them coming back down. I think the down was harder than the up since the loose rocks made it easy to slip...
Do you think I could get away with having one of these in my basement?? Maybe it'd encourage the twins to quit fighting over every little thing. ;)
Emily at the wheel of the "Mayflower". It was a life sized section of the boat and I was REALLY surprised how small it was. It would have been difficult to fit so many people onto such a small boat. 
Jason being fierce in the armor they had to try on. He only had it on for a minute and he commented on how hot it was to wear. 
This is Em and Jason playing nine mens morris. It reminded me of tick tack toe, but more complicated...the kids loved it so I gotta figure out how to make a board for them to play on at home. They also played fox and geese but we had to leave before they were done to meet Daddy at the printing museum. If you haven't been to the Crandall printing museum you should check it out. It has some really cool stuff. Old printing presses, a machine that you can type a word into and it'll make a metal printing piece of that word. The kids and I all got our names like that last year. It has a Guttenberg printing press and lots of other neat stuff to look at. We all had fun checking it all out.
want to get wet for some reason so Jason decided to help her out by cooling her off. :)
