Last night we finally carved pumpkins. We usually do it on the Monday before Halloween, but it didn't work out this year. Emily decided to paint hers instead of carving because it was so big and she didn't want to clean all the guts out of it. :)
She painted both sides different things. The first side says BOO! and the other side is a jack-o-lantern face.
Jason had to carve his and he did most of it by himself. He really wanted a NY Yankees pumpkin this year and thankfully it was easy to find a pattern for him to use. I helped him cut the top off and get his pattern on his pumpkin to carve, but he did the rest.
Here he is cleaning out his pumpkin.
And here he is with the finished product of all of his hard work. Looks pretty good if I do say so myself...
Liam didn't get a pumpkin this year because he's too young to care, but he tried his hardest to help out by grabbing paint brushes, pulling on the newspaper that was on the table and making things fall off. It was fun!
